This course is designed to offer key foundations, lectures and exercises, planned carefully and with an emphasis in the good practices, to enable students to successfully incorporate the knowledge. They will learn the following skills:
- Relational Database and SQL Foundations
- Building Queries using SELECT statements in different scenarios.
- Filtering data applying conditions
- Working with 2 or more tables
- Grouping and Aggregating Data
- Introduction to Extended SQL (i.e. TSQL)
- Defining, Handling and Converting Data Types
- Using Functions in SQL for Strings, Numbers, Date.
- Modifying Data using INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE
