As part of our strong commitment in giving back to the community, we are a proud sponsor and supporter of our Microsoft Data Community in South Florida. SQL Saturday has been locally held in South Florida for over a decade, and this year the first Business Intelligence Edition has been a whole success. The conference was held at Microsoft offices in Fort Lauderdale, with a limit in attendance of 200 people, which was exceeded with a long wait-list in place of people wanting to attend this event!
SQL Saturday South Florida BI 2020, had around 200 attendees, enjoying a full day of free training, networking with peers, food, fun, and great prizes.
The event had a strong focus on diversity and brought a new initiative of having 50% of sessions presented by Women Speakers.
We kicked-off with a keynote and a Women in Technology Panel. Followed by a whole day of content where attendees learned about Microsoft Cloud Azure, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, Power BI, Artificial Intelligence, professional & personal development and more.
